We'll try an expecial and typical mango ice cream with salt and lemon wich one is including in the tour, and inside my Grandmother's home I will explain you everything about the painful past of la Comuna 13, and our personal histories like locals of la Comuna 13 as well. Then we will take the escalators that leads to the top of the mountain, and I will show you an amazing viewpoint to see all Medellin City, (here we will try more local food). Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. After we will go back to the meeting point to do the end of the tour.

This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. We will find and meet at the main exit to San Javier metro station, and next we will board a bus which will take us towards Barrio el Salado, where we will are the meets cemetery in all of Latin America. After this we will see the UVA, unit of unique artists, a very enjoyable sight. From here we will walk to a view where one of the most famous photographs of Medellin during the armed conflict era, the photograph is evidence of how violent this era was. We will meet on the docks of East Boston where we will tear into and slurp dozens of local oysters, harvested by our oyster farmer friends, while looking over the harbor and skyline. We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. We named it Black Legacy Experience, because it is definitely an essential place for our black history in Colombia. This town hosts a sort of spin off of Cartagena's history in timeline. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. First we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests. Our ride will take us to the mouth of a beautiful slot canyon where we will dismount and walk a short distance into the canyon. This incredible sandstone formation is very narrow with walls towering several hundred feet high on either side. East Zion is the home to world class slot canyons that can be found nowhere else! Following this stop, riders will again get in the saddle and ride back to the starting point. You will be led by a local guide with years of horse riding experience that will also share the rich cowboy history of small town Orderville that continues to live on today. We will pick you up at your place. You will paragliding over the city of Medellin and you will be able to witness the majesty of the city from above. You will fly with a certified instructor who will show you the best landscape and will leave you jaw-dropping. It will be a 15 minutes flight. Take part of this amazing experience. Please keep in mind that for this experience YOU WILL NEED TO CLIMB some stairs to get to the takeoff zone. We have two landing spots and depending on the weather conditions you can land either on the same place you takeoff from or in the city. In case you land in the city your driver will drive down and meet you in a place that we have already agreed. Free Videos, Guided Beginner Tour! Don't know how to swim? That's ok, I specialize in taking beginners out! We will meet for check in at Escambron Beach Park (type into maps or Uber). Once you enter Escambron Beach park's main entrance, you will pass the guard shack(if you are driving you will need to pay for Parking) and continue straight down the road to the very end of the parking lot to the left. Once you arrive, you will see a a red Kiosk and snorkeling equipment. Please check in there 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Once checked in, I will go over a safety briefing and information on the sea life we will encounter. The tour will begin in the shallows where we will be trying on equipment and once comfortable we will begin snorkeling around the famous Escambron Marine park. Make sure you keep an eye out for all of the different sea life at our dive site. Because we are viewing sea life in the ocean not an aquarium, we cannot guarantee you will see sea turtles, however, majority of the time we do. Other things to note This tour was designed for any level of diver, from non swimmers to olympic gold medalists. Make sure you wear your swimwear, bring water, sunscreen and a towel. I do have a place to store your bags while on the tour.
