Discover Copenhagen's fascinating design details and learn the history, ideas and inspiration behind them, in a small group of max. 6 participants. We will look at and talk about Copenhagen's characteristic designs, buildings unique decoration, thoughtful designs, beautiful colours and the special layout and paving of the squares and roads of this beautiful capital. Furthermore you will be given an insight into the design initiatives Copenhagen is putting in place to tackle the climate crisis and the health of its citizens. Other things to note Participants in wheelchairs, prams and pushchairs are very welcome.

You will meet up with your guide and the rest of the group at a central meeting point. After an initial welcome, all guests will be paired with their own easy-to-handle bicycle. After a few safety instructions you will ride on to your first food stop on the tour. Here, you will start off by having an award-winning hot dog in true Danish fashion. You can enjoy riding on some of the best urban bike lanes of the world, while riding on to your next stop. Next, you will visit one of the best food markets the city has to offer, where you will try a traditional Danish fish-meatball, as well as a locally brewed beer. This is then followed by a delicious Danish chocolate dessert called Flødebolle. Your guide will entertain with some storytelling while you enjoy your tastings. Your group will continue to a restaurant that serves some delicious Danish Smørrebrød, which are open faced sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients you can find. Finally, the group will try some freshly-made Danish pastries as a dessert to conclude the tour.

Do you know the taste of a fresh butter baked Danish pastry? A professional pastry chef with many years of experience will guide you through the different baking techniques and tips including kneading, rolling and folding the dough with butter. We will make a selection of traditional and delicious Danish pastries (Wienerbrød). The course will have a break with coffee/tea where you can try some of your Danish pastries and exchange your cultural/baking experiences. You can bring the rest of them home to share with your family. You work in stations of 2 so if you book this alone, please be aware that you will be paired with another baking enthusiast. But this is also a great chance to meet new people. Recipes: Very detailed recipes will be sent to your email after the class, so it is important that you leave your email-address. This also means that you can concentrate on the baking part and take great pictures of your lovely pastries. Children: From 11 years old are welcome in the class if with a paying adult. From the age of 13 years, a child can participate alone - but please contact me before booking so that I can confirm. I only accept paying participants in the kitchen. Treff ist am Prerower Hafen, ich bringe Neoprenanzuege und Ausruestung mit . Nach einer Einweisung in die Paddeltechnik, erpaddeln wir auf unseren Standup Paddelboards den Prerowstrom und gehen zum Sonnenuntergang zum Strand.Im Abendlicht entdecken wir auf dem Prerowstrom Fischreiher, Adler und mit etwas Glück die Robben. This workshop is an introduction into how we taste and the key attributes we look for when evaluating coffee. It's a fun, interactive way to begin to understand how we best use our sense of smell and taste to evaluate coffee. Designed for coffee enthusiasts or those just getting into better quality coffee and wishing to explore their palate. We will walk and shoot in and around the beautiful area of Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen/Stadshuset (depending on the time and lighting). Our daily free walking tour is a very good start of your visit in Vilnius as it gives an overview of the city and it's culture. The aim of the tour is not only to to show for the city guests the highlights of Vilnius but also walk the group through the secret courtyards and passages that would be hard for the travelers to discover on their own. The tour starts at the Cathedral Square and we present you the brief history of Vilnius. You will find out how our Grand Dukes ruled the city and what enemies the Grand Duchy of Lithuania had in the Middle Ages. You will probably be surprised to learn how powerful, big and threatening the country was in the past. After some time, we take take you through the narrow, medieval streets of the old town towards an area where mostly Jews and Germans lived in the past. You will get to know about different nationalities that lived in the city, how they all cohabit together and what happened to them, as Vilnius today is not so multi-ethnic anymore. For the dessert, we will show you the Republic of Uzupis – the magical part of Vilnius that has its own crazy story. After, we will go to the old town, where we will take photos in colorful cobbled alleys, a beautiful hidden square, and we end up at the famous square Stortorget. I welcome you to the perfect and unique experience for everyone, hiking through beautiful virgin nature near the city. First we will meet up at our house, so that you can leave luggage here, then we will step right out in to grand nature, and after a while we will be experiencing cooking over an open fire, and eating by a secret glade by a beautiful forrest lake. (There is a shelter i case of bad weather) Once we reach our house again we will enjoy the culture of Swedish sauna with spa features. In the winter we go on the ice and in the summer we like to swim in the lakes! What I share is mine and my family’s favorite hobby, and we are happy to share all the knowledge that we have acquired about Swedish nature and culture since childhood. We do Social Sailing, which means your captain will ask personal questions along the tour so we get to know each other and share experiences. This is our "Hidden gems" tour where we will show our own favorite spots, which are off the beaten track from the standard path. Expect to get an introduction to areas we think are cool, local, and where you get a great a sense of what the life in Copenhagen is all about. The harbor in Copenhagen is undergoing rapid change, from an industrial harbor to recreational space open to everyone living in the city. During the summer months it acts as the main nerve binding the city together and attracting numerous water-based activities in the process. You will see how this is folds out with Kayaks passing by and happy Danes jumping into the water. As we explore the upcoming areas away from the inner part of the city you will see how former industrial buildings are being transformed into new spaces and how Copenhagen is evolving as a city.
